Hey folks,

Bighorn questions:

  • Do you have a rough eta for a first release (i know. horiible question. e.g Q1 2025)
  • What is the migration path going to look like? I see stuff going on with auth middleware etc

Hi Shannon

The one big thing we need to get to a releasable state is our RSC support. And the most current status update is this: React Server Components (RSC) - #36 by Tobbe

The migration path is definitely top of mind for us. We aim to make it as easy as possible.
Initially it might not be possible to take an existing RW app and just start using Bighorn and RSC. But it’s definitely something we want to support. We don’t plan to leave all our current users behind :slight_smile:

I added a short status update to that other thread.

TL;DR: We’re working on the dev server. On a scale from 0-5 on how complete it is it used to be at a 1. It’s now at a 2 (maybe even 2.5)
