Post Editor preferences; hide the preview?

I’ve always had mixed feelings about how the editor works here in the forums. What are people’s reactions to something like this (did you know you can hide the preview?):

Also, I’ve never found the “suggested topic” blue screen to be anything but annoying. Should I turn that off, too?

I like the preview. And I like that it’s always there, so I don’t have to switch to another editor tab like on GitHub to see it.
